WHO WE ARE
Moja is an award-winning modern PR and personal branding business based in Newcastle.
We work with entrepreneurs, authors and senior leaders to help them get known for what they do best – through personal branding, publishing, podcasts and standout visibility.
We’re not corporate, we’re not old-school, and we’re definitely not boring.
We’re a small, ambitious team who care about our clients, our work and each other. We move fast, think creatively and pride ourselves on delivering an outstanding experience at every touchpoint.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-first Membership & Operations Coordinator to support the smooth running of Moja.
This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is keen to learn, get stuck in and grow with the business. You’ll work closely with Rachael (our COO) to prioritise workload and ensure both operations and membership deliverables stay on track.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Operations & Business Support
- Support day to day admin and operations across the business
- Coordinate schedules, meetings and projects so nothing slips through the net
- Prepare documents for client meetings and projects
- Support onboarding and offboarding of clients to ensure a smooth experience
- Keep systems, trackers and internal documents organised and up to date
- Spot problems early and flag them, or help solve them before they escalate
- Support Rachael and the wider team with operational tasks as needed
Get Known Club Membership Coordination
- Coordinate the day to day running of the Get Known Club membership
- Plan and schedule monthly content drops in advance so everything is ready on time
- Liaise with guest experts to confirm sessions, gather materials and manage logistics
- Upload, organise and maintain membership content on the platform
- Respond to member queries promptly and professionally
- Start and nurture conversations within the community to keep engagement strong
- Support onboarding of new members so they quickly understand how to get value
Events & Projects
- Support the organisation of the annual Get Known Summit one day conference and Writing Retreats
- Assist with project coordination across the business as needed
As you grow in the role, you’ll have opportunities to take increasing ownership of projects and improve how we deliver our membership experience.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude. You look for ways to help rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Strong written communication skills and confidence representing Moja professionally with clients and members.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail. You enjoy keeping systems tidy and making sure nothing slips through the net.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and stay calm when things get busy.
- Confidence starting conversations and building rapport with members and clients.
- You enjoy bringing energy to a community space rather than sitting quietly in the background.
- You notice when someone goes quiet and instinctively check in to make sure they feel supported.
- A natural instinct for great customer experience. You care about how people feel at every touchpoint.
- A proactive mindset. If something needs doing, you take ownership and get started.
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team where everyone mucks in.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn. You’re excited to understand how a growing personal branding and publishing business operates.
WHAT YOU’LL GET
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Training and development tailored to you
- Exposure to publishing, personal branding, podcasts and high-profile clients
- A supportive, warm team who want you to succeed
- The chance to grow with the business as Moja continues to scale
